Introducing the TW FreeBuster v2, our latest board line born from extensive testing of the Starbuster in its smallest sizes. Designed to deliver early takeoff, impressive speed, and glide—without the need for a Deep Tuttle Box—the FreeBuster is made for riders who demand both performance and simplicity.
Design Highlights
With a square tail and aerodynamically shaped nose and stern, the FreeBuster minimizes drag at both base and mid-speeds. Soft, rounded bevels add control without compromising lift.
The volume distribution—55% forward, 45% aft—promotes effortless glide and an easy, balanced ride. A slightly concave deck enhances control, especially in strong wind conditions, allowing better feel and sheet management.
Construction & Materials

Built using full PVC sandwich construction, the FreeBuster combines strength, low weight, and high responsiveness.
Deck: Biaxial Carbon (120g) + UD Carbon (125g) with added 178g UD Carbon in high-stress zones
Bottom: Biaxial Carbon (120g) + 178g UD Carbon around the box area
Core: EPS (15 kg/m³), with 3mm PVC (75 kg/m³) high-density layers on both deck and bottom
